Why ‘Hush’, the secret salon?

For many years I’ve worked as a director, stylist and co-owner of two city centre salons, but the birth of my lovely daughter gave me the opportunity to make a major career change and do something I have always wanted to do.

And that is to open a small, exclusive salon, next to my home, where I can offer something very special.

Having spent many years in busy and by their very nature often rushed city centre hair salons, I wanted to create a salon that would be small enough to allow me to provide an exclusive hairstyling service personally tailored to individual clients, enabling me to spend more time with them.

My salon

Clients have said how they sometimes miss the more personal service that they can remember having had in the past, and so that’s what I’ve tried to create.

I want people to feel really special and at ease while they’re in my salon and be able to relax.

I’ve created my new salon at the rear of my house, with its own separate entrance. It’s small and personal – and clients tell me they love it. It makes them feel more special than in a bustling and busy large salon.
